Embellish your crochet projects with this super simple star crochet pattern. We’ve all had those times where we just needed a cute little star to add to our work. All terms are US standard crochet terms.
ch – Chain
sl st – Slip Stitch
dc – Double Crochet
hdc – Half-Double Crochet
st – Stitch
All instructions in parentheses are meant to be worked in the same stitch.
To start: Ch 5, sl st to form ring [this could also be started with a magic ring]
1: Ch 3 [counts as 1st dc], 9 dc in ring, sl st to top of ch 3 — 10dc
2: Ch 3 [counts as 1st dc], 1 dc same space, 2 dc each st around — 20dc
3: Ch 1, *hdc, (2dc, ch3, 2dc), hdc, sl st*, repeat between * total of 4 times
Fasten off and weave in ends!
